- Waiting for Compelling Offers
For once not wildly into adventure, but via a guided climb. An exercise first, a sport, a jump into the open at some point. I start by repeating the first picture and turn as I like. Does this point come sooner or later, and where do I stop?
Einmal nicht wild ins Abenteuer, sondern über einen geführten Steig. Eine Übung zuerst, ein Sport, ein Absprung irgendwann ins Freie. Ich beginne mit der Wiederholung des ersten Bildes und biege ab, wie es mir gefällt. Kommt dieser Punkt früher oder später, und wo höre ich auf?

- Ein mehrseitiges Bild
Fig status, or: a brief dip in butter for the abandoned. A multi-page picture, a free improvisation, an amusing gimmick. Wolfgang Kschwendt dives with us through a sea of (drawn and written) phrases, tries to explain the world to himself (and us), fails and makes the best of it.
Feigenstatus oder: Verlassenes einmal kurz in Butter schwenken. Ein mehrseitiges Bild, eine freie Improvisation, eine vergnügte Spielerei. Wolfgang Kschwendt taucht mit uns durch ein Meer an (gezeichneten und notierten) Phrasen, versucht sich (und uns) die Welt zu erklären, scheitert und macht das Beste daraus.
Works and Progresses
- Have a closer look
New work, new flows and developments. The drawings on cardboard became some more coloured, some of them more reduced. Feigenstatus (which means something like The Status of the Fig) is a poetic visual flow and still flowing. And I also went back to when I worked with oil crayons on wood and tried some new approach.
Neue Arbeiten, momentane Entwicklungen, kurz vorgestellt. Die Notationen auf Karton sind farbiger geworden, zum Teil auch reduzierter. Der Feigenstatus verändert sich und wächst noch. Ein Flow. Außerdem habe ich mich wieder der Qualitäten von Wachskreiden und Holz erinnert und einen neuen Zugang ausprobiert.
